Looking back at 2015, it was a good soaping year. I continued head on with this wonderful craft.
I tried tweaking my recipe a bit and I think I finally came to one that I am happy with…that was until this morning when I decided to add a little bit of Mango Butter. Haha! I can never be happy 🙂 and that’s probably why I always spend so much time with my labeling, because I keep tweaking my recipe.
I wasn’t as active with my soapy blog as I wanted. Partly because I was a little bit down with my health mid-year and I really wanted to just rest and relax. I was soaping, but I did not have any energy to sit in front of a laptop and create a post. I am hoping that 2016 will be much better and I am able to post more updates.
I really enjoyed some of the soap challenges that Amy Warden from Great Cakes Soapworks put together. I especially enjoyed the Soap Desserts Challenge. I love being able to come up with some of these little guys…
I wanted to do the Impression Mat Challenge but I ran out of time with the holidays. I may just try that on my own and see how well I do, and I just may blog about it :).
I did continue to do some of my dessert soaps, and really enjoyed doing them. I am brainstorming on how to come up with a dessert soap line for 2016. Now that I feel a little more confident with craft events I try to find ways to do something different with the soap products that I offer. I really did enjoy creating this cake, and was happy that it did really well at the events that I participated during this holiday season.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and looking forward to an awesome 2016!
I leave you with some of the soaps I created in 2015. Looking back it always inspires me to create more!
Have a SAFE and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Thanks for checking out my blog and happy soaping!!!
