Hawaiian Ginger! One of my favorites fragrances for sure!
It’s also very well received by friends and people that have purchased from me, but even if that was not the case, I would still keep on soaping with it since I LOVE IT so MUCH! 🙂
It certainly reminds me of my visits to Hawaii, and brings back fun memories for sure.
I have started to soap with Mango Butter again, for a while there I was using Cocoa Butter. I also did not realise how much harder it is to unmold my soap from the silic0ne mold. I had gotten used to my soap coming off pretty clean from the mold within a day (even without gelling). With the Mango Butter I had I need to wait an extra day. For this soap when I went to unmold it was still soft from the bottom and I ended up tearing some of it 🙁
I have also been soaping with full milk, whether it’s Goats Milk or Coconut Milk. I am currently out of my powder milk, but luckily my local Trader Joe’s carries both these milks in the fridge section. I usually pour it all in ice cubes trays and have them in the freezer ready for when I am ready to soap. Here is a Video Vine of melting the Lye in the Milk
For this soap I decided I wanted to try the Celine Swirl (aka Spoon Swirl) since I had not done it in a while. This time around I did not dip the spoon deep enough and my swirl did not come out exactly with what I was looking for. But it was close enough 🙂
I am still pretty happy with my swirl and my Hawaiian Theme Soap.
I like how the Orange, Red and Yellow Mica’s are mixing together. Sort of a fire 🙂
