It has been about two years or so that I last made a “Berry Pie”. My first pie and piping project came out pretty good and I have not tried to recreate it only because I struggle with the perfect time to pipe the soap. Most of the times it’s too soft or sometimes pretty close to setting up. I have done a couple of cupcakes here and there and yet the tops come out a a bit too runny. Maybe I need a little more practice and maybe I am just not cut out to make soap cupcakes and cakes.
Now that was until I received a call from an old friend, Daniel, inquiring on the soap pie that he saw on my Facebook page. He asked if I would be willing to do one for his fiance Angie. I gladly took on the challenge! The many times that Daniel has helped me out, I was more than ready to make a soap pie for Angie. In exchange he offered to make me some soap displays!!!!
YAY! He is going to have soap for life from me! I am now ready for my upcoming festival 🙂
I was so happy I got ready to start soaping!
Berry Pie in the making!
I was pleasantly surprised on how it came out in the end. Even the piping cooperated! 🙂
and for the final product:
I hope Angie likes her Berry Pie. I certainly enjoyed making it and will be really enjoying my new soap displays!!!
since I am in a soapy “baking’ mood…here is a pic of some recent cupcakes I made 🙂
